YA Cancer Gabfest

December 9 @ 4:30 pm - December 13 @ 7:30 pm

Free

Anyone else feel like you should be able to control cancer like a classic boombox? Want to fast forward through your next CT scan? Or do you want to just press pause so you can take a niiiiice lonnnng nap? Or maybe you’re a survivor and you need to rewind to process everything you’ve experienced?

In fact, that’s kind of what YA Cancer Gabfest is! While there isn’t a secret eject button we can give you, we’re happy to present YA Cancer Gabfest 2024!

Beginning on December 9th, we invite you to press pause on the usual activities of your life and join us for a week of interactive survivorship crash courses for facing cancer, to share, explore, and learn as we interact together around the common paths of young adult cancer. Use what you learn to amplify your own survivorship by building connections and community to navigate young adult cancer survivorship. You are the expert in your own care, so along with experts in the field, YA Cancer Gabfest combines and elevates the individual voices of the young adult cancer community.

YA Cancer Gabfest is open to young adult cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers along with the researchers, healthcare providers, and nonprofit professionals who care for them. If you’re affected by or work in the field of young adult cancer, this event is for you!

Registration is open! Sign up to join hundreds of other young adults facing cancer and the people who care for them!

***This is an event co-hosted by Cactus Cancer Society & Elephants and Tea!
